On Wednesday, May 22, METS students Marti Salazar, Zezlet Depano, Mariah Laboy, Joshua Cordon, Aisha Bhamla, Ahmed Amashah and Q’uara Phillips attended the STEM and Business Career Workshop at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

The workshop focused on the “four C’s”: communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking and presented professional, structured learning experiences to equip students with the tools and skills required to earn and keep a job in high-growth career industries. This was accomplished through hands-on, interactive activities. The students also explored career clusters and future jobs and participated in mock job interviews.

A large group of volunteers and mentors from Audible, Merck, Wells Fargo, Santander, Prudential, and Valley Bank assisted and encouraged the future STEM business students.
