On April 13, 2019,  Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Computing and Security Enrichment Outreach Program (CSEOP) held a graduation ceremony for five M.E.T.S. Charter School students. Graduates of the program are Aisha Bhamla, Joshua Cordon, Bryan Escobar, Fanuel Perez and Jaylynne Garcia. Congratulations on your completion of this challenging program!

CSEOP emphasized five major concentrations of particular relevance and interest for budding cybersecurity technologists:  Inside Computers and Networking; Criminal Justice and Cyber Crime; Programming using Alice (Java); Image Processing and Steganography*; and Cryptography and Cybersecurity. The purpose of the program is to engage and cultivate student interests in this emerging and important discipline of information technology.
Students attended FDU for five hours each Saturday for eight weeks.
*Editor’s note:  Steganography is the practice of concealing a file, message, image, or video within another file, message, image, or video.
