Bird Box was released December 13, 2018. More than 45 million Netflix accounts watched the movie. The main characters were played by Sandra Bullock, Trevante Rhodes, Julian Edwards, and Vivien Lyra Blair. Susanne Bier was the director of this film. It was rated “R” for language and violence and the movie lasted 2 hours and 4 minutes.

The movie starts off in the middle of events and begins with a flashback. The movie had lots of action and tense parts. In this one scene, a girl in the group ruined the group’s safety by letting some random guy in.  When he started to pick off everybody, one by one, he made them open their eyes so, demons can take over other people. At the end, the main character takes herself and her two kids on the river for a journey to this safe haven but, there’s a journey ahead of them.

I thought that the movie was very exciting, the special effects were impressive, and  everything drew me into the movie for the beginning. I also liked that they included how the demons made humans responsible for all the sabotage of their chances for survival. The Metronome felt this plot twist was a very cool and clever way to make it a continuous problem for the humans’ survival throughout the movie. The Metronome Reviewers disliked how the plot started to speed up the movie’s pace even rushing to the end. Overall, it was a good movie. The Metronome would rate this movie 7 out of 10.
