This great movie was written by Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Justin Zackham. It was directed by Petel Segar.  The main character is Jennifer Lopez who plays  Maya, a supermarket cashier with a huge dream. Second Act would initially be released in the United States by STX films on November 21, 2018, but in September 2018, it was changed to December 14, 2018. Later, it was delayed to December 21, 2018.

Jennifer Lopez (Maya) is a supermarket worker who at 40 years old is frustrated by dreams that were not fulfilled when she was younger. However,  life gives her a second chance and shows her that life experiences are the best way of learning. Life gives her the opportunity to show that what is learned with effort on the street is also valuable.

I loved this movie very much. Jennifer Lopez has always been an admirable person  who has always done a great job as an actress. This romantic comedy’s theme asserts everything can be done in life if you set your mind to it and you must fight for what you want.  You can be an example for those women who have the same dream as Maya (Jennifer L.). I also think this movie  shows many people that it’s never too late to succeed or to find love.  The movie is 1 hour and 43 minutes and rated PG-13.   The Metronome gives this movie five out of five stars. * * * * *
