Mrs. Ripoll is a English I teacher here at METS Charter School and the 9th grade adviser. Last year, Mrs. Ripoll noticed that the ninth grade did not have any trips or events for their class.  She wanted them to enjoy their school year and she knew that if she was the ninth grade’s adviser, she could make sure they would have fun. Mrs. Ripoll has many plans and ideas for the freshmen. She wants them to be involved in the planning as much as possible, but she has already thought of field trips, a spring formal, and a end of the year celebration.

Mrs. Ripoll grew up in Fairfield, New Jersey, and went to William Paterson college. She is is married and has a 2 ½ year old son. She had the idea that she wanted to be a teacher at an early age. When she was fourteen, she working at a daycare center and she loved watching kids learning something every day;  the looks on their faces always made her happy.

When she teaches, she loves building relationships with the students and seeing the pride her students develop. The other jobs she had was working at the daycare for ten years and being a stay-at-home mom. In the future, she hopes to become a college professor.
